Alliance Francaise de Denver

Alliance Française de Denver is Colorado's premier French language and culture center, offering comprehensive educational programs and cultural experiences to the Denver community. As the only wholly French language, culture, and resource center in Colorado, AFD provides French language classes for adults and children taught by native and fluent speakers, with flexible scheduling options available during the day, evenings, and weekends. The organization serves as an official accredited center for DELF/DALF and TCF French language certifications, helping students qualify their French proficiency levels. Beyond classroom instruction, Alliance Française de Denver enriches the Denver-Metro area through diverse cultural programming including film screenings, art exhibitions, wine tastings, cooking workshops, lectures, and traditional celebrations. Members enjoy exclusive access to an extensive library housing over 5,500 books, films, and audio materials, plus Culturethèque, a 24/7 digital library with French resources. Private and semi-private tuition packages are available for personalized learning experiences. Founded in 1897, AFD is one of the oldest non-profit organizations in the Denver-Metro area and maintains core values of community, education, inclusivity, quality, and diversity.
