Alliance Francaise de Tallahassee

Alliance Française de Tallahassee (AFTally) is a dedicated language and cultural education organization serving the Tallahassee, FL community and North Florida region. As an independent, non-profit organization, AFTally offers comprehensive French language instruction through structured courses designed for learners of all levels. Classes run for eight-week sessions beginning in September, with one-hour classes meeting weekly to accommodate busy schedules. The organization maintains an accessible location at 541 East Tennessee Street with ample parking, making it convenient for students to attend regular instruction.

Beyond language instruction, AFTally specializes in fostering cultural, intellectual, and artistic exchanges that connect the Tallahassee community with French-speaking cultures worldwide. The organization's programming extends to a diverse range of Francophone regions, including France, French-speaking Canada, African countries, the Caribbean, the Indian Ocean, South America, and the South Pacific. With a membership base of over 220 active members, AFTally provides resources including an on-site library and regular cultural events.
