Alliance Francaise Nashville

Alliance Française de Nashville (AFN) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to promoting the French language and francophone cultures throughout Middle Tennessee. Based in Nashville, TN, AFN offers a comprehensive range of programs and services designed to foster appreciation for French-speaking communities and strengthen cultural connections. The organization provides French language classes tailored to various proficiency levels, along with topical workshops that deepen understanding of francophone cultures and traditions. Beyond classroom instruction, AFN organizes cultural events throughout the Nashville community, creating opportunities for language learners and French speakers to engage with authentic cultural experiences. The organization demonstrates its commitment to education and opportunity by funding two scholarships annually for deserving students. AFN also hosts specialized conversation groups and cultural activities, including Cercle de Conversation, Cercle de Lecture, and Ciné Club programs that allow participants to practice language skills while enjoying French cinema and literature.
