American Association of French Speaking Health Professionals

Established in 1979 in New York City, the American Association of French Speaking Health Professionals (AAFSHP) continues to provide a formal liaison for French-speaking health professionals.

The AAFSHP:

1. establishes a social forum which encourages the exchange of ideas among French-speaking health professionals

2. encourages medical education particularly between French-speaking and American health care communities

3. promotes and sponsors scientific seminars

4. publishes a directory of French-speaking specialists for professional services and health education.
