French Heritage Society

French Heritage Society is a premier nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation, restoration, and promotion of French architectural and cultural heritage throughout the United States and France. Based in New York, NY, with headquarters in Paris and 11 chapters across both nations, the organization provides comprehensive grant funding and restoration support for historically significant French properties. Since its founding in 1982, French Heritage Society has funded over 701 restoration projects and distributed 16.2 million dollars in restoration grants to culturally important sites. The organization operates a robust educational program offering transatlantic internships to American and French university students in restoration, horticulture, and conservation fields, with over 577 student internships completed to date.
